Samples with the Local Plant Material/

While working on my next entry on Catalpa plant I’d like to share these photos of cotton samples contact dyed with plants from my yard and area. Mordants: alum and iron. Extraction time: 1,2 h. Revealed to oxidation in the air, i.e. opened, immediately after cooking and upon cooling down for about 35 min.
